I looking for a pad adjustment piece for my front disc brake. I put too much force on it while using the allen tool, to try to adjust it, and now I cant get it out.
Visit some bike shops to see if they have, or can order parts for your brake. Internet sellers want to sell complete units, small parts are not profitable. Keeping small parts in inventory is very expensive, a small drawer of various parts can tie up

10 free points to who ever finds a good diagram and tells me about the disc brakes.
A little more info on the question? What kind of disk brakes? Do you mean in general? Like levers, cables, calipers, rotors, and spacers? Or down to plungers, coils, helixes, internal stuff. Also, do you mean mechanical or hydrolic disk brakes?

How to fix hand brake on bike?
Jul 27, 2009 by Onyx Ninja | Posted in Cycling
My bike is outdoors alot and the brake line rusted and snapped in half where the line meets a round cylinder inside the brake handle. Is there a way to fix this? (sorry in advance for the poor terminology, don't know bikeparts real well) ;)
You need a new cable. Good cables, like those that come on quality bikes, are stainless and won't rust off like your cable did.
Take it to the shop.

What can I replace this broke bike brake part/fitting with?
Mar 14, 2009 by brettcbrown | Posted in Cycling
I have a ~25 year old bike that hasn't been ridden in 20 years. It's a Raleigh Rampar Rapide. It has original side-pull brakes on it. They actually still work, well they did work, until I started messing with them. The rear brakes had a little wiggle
You only need to replace the part. You tightened the bolt just a little too much. The brakes will move a little back and forth. A new set of pads will help the braking a lot, the old ones should be hard by now.
